Lecce Hosts Sustainable Environmental Development Workshop

An INNOVINT meeting for all partners focused on Sustainable Environmental Development took place on the 19th February 2007 in Provincia di Lecce, Lecce, Italy.
It involved different European enterprises in the sector of Sustainable Environmental Development coming together from France, Poland, Spain and Italy. The workshop began at 9.15 a.m. until 5.30 p.m. In the morning, some representatives of both local and governmental institutions (Province of Lecce, IRIDE-Innovation Relay Centre- I.C.E. - Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, Confindustria, University and Chamber of Commerce) gave a few technical speeches. In the afternoon, some bilateral business meetings took place with the support of an interpreter.
On Tuesday the 20th of February, the INNOVINT partners visited the National Nanotechnology Laboratory, at the University of Lecce as well as an innovative local enterprise and this was followed by the Steering Committee meeting, which took place in the afternoon.
